TEMPLATE also containsmany high-level features including charting, graphing, contouring,surfaces, axis routines, hidden line removal, legend, and message areas.TEMPLATE has functions for both 2-D and 3-D and is device- and computer-independent. Application programs can create 3-D hierarchical objects anddynamically rotate, scale, and translate them with simple and mnemonicsubroutine names.TEMPLATE is used in a multitude of scientific and engineeringapplications including molecular modeling, finite-element analysis,manufacturing, multidimensional data analysis, graphics simulation, andgeneral data visualization.Template has an impressive array of device driver support includingPostScript, HP-GL, CGM, Tektronix terminals, and DEC Terminals. X-basedworkstations and terminals can also be used for both input and output.
